Our Family

Stacey Rivera

Chief Executive Officer, Certified Veterinary Technician

Ever since she was a little girl, Stacey always knew she was destined to make a difference in the lives of animals. She was that quintessential child bringing home sick kittens or stranded baby birds–always feeling a calling, a sense of duty, to nurse these tiny helpless beings back to health. Now, that calling is stronger than ever, and her sense of purpose has grown so much so, that she has dedicated her life to being a NJ State Certified Veterinary Technician. She excels in doing what comes so naturally to her; nursing and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

Motivated by her eagerness to learn, and insatiable appetite for knowledge, she graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology. She persevered, and continued on to become a credentialed technician, certified by the State of New Jersey. Stacey’s career as a Veterinary Technician has provided her with vast experience and knowledge ranging anywhere from; nursing and hand-rearing newborn kittens, to managing diabetic pets, and monitoring anesthetic patients undergoing surgical procedures.

During her continued career, Stacey saw the desperate need for qualified professional pet sitters and care-givers.  The number of pet parents who were in need of a responsible, dependable, skilled, individual to care for their pets was astounding. She made it her mission to fill that need, and created Stacey’s Paw Pal Service. With over a decade dedicated to serving the pets in her community; healthy or sick, young or old, weak or strong, Stacey IS The Premier Pet Nurse.

Saul Garcia

CCO, Chief Cuddling Officer

Saul is an Information Technology professional by day, and Pet Care Professional by night! He married Stacey and has been an indispensable asset to her over the past decade. Saul has always had a love for animals which has blossomed into a passionate career alongside his wife. He is experienced in administering various medications, caring for neo-nate kittens, and of course cuddling all of the adorable pets that come his way.

Kaylee

VA, Veterinary Assistant

Kaylee is Stacey’s little sister! She has grown up watching her big sister take in and care for animals in need, her whole life. This sparked an interest in the veterinary field and created a path for her to follow in Stacey’s footsteps, and achieve her own veterinary career. Kaylee is now an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is currently pursuing her degree in Veterinary Technology.

Jackie

Fairy Dog Mother

Jackie is the amazing mother to Stacey and Kaylee! She has helped foster her daughters’ love and devotion to animals by always allowing them to bring home any pet in need. Jackie has always had pets of her own, and enjoys spoiling them whenever she can. She has made it her duty to dote on the pets in her care the way only a mother can! So she has come to be affectionately known as our Fairy Dog-Mother.

Rina

Granny Nanny a.k.a. Abuela

Rina is Stacey’s Abuelita (Spanish word for grandma), and she has the BEST job! She revels in getting to do what grandmothers do best—spoiling the grandbabies! She makes sure the pets in our care get treated with lots of extra TLC, the way only a grandma can. She is lovingly known as our Granny-Nanny.

Jeter

Pup in Charge

Jeter is Stacey’s first rescue dog. He’s really the head of the operation—or at least they let him think he is!
